Aki graduated from Colorado State University in 2001 with a degree from the Business College in Finance and Real Estate where he was also the starting point guard for the Rams basketball team for 2 years. Upon graduation Aki joined CB Richard Ellis, the world’s largest commercial real estate company, in Denver where he worked full-time for 2 years. Aki later joined Legend Retail Group where he worked for 1 1/2 yrs full time doing Retail Brokerage.
In his tenure as a broker, Aki has worked on a number of notable projects, including the leasing and sale of Towne Ctr. @ Brookhill a 500,0000 sf Retail Center in Westminster, CO. He was the exclusive broker for an 80 acre land acquisition in north Denver. He has also brokered several smaller land acquisitions, leases, and investment properties throughout Northern Colorado. In his career Aki has accounted for 2.5 million sf of leased square ft and 5 million square ft of land sold.
Aki brings several notable projects with his experience to Realtec, including First Community Bank Plaza in Ft. Collins, The Palmer Gardens in Loveland, and several tenant representations in Northern Colorado.
