Jim brings over 25 years of diverse experience in commercial real estate to Realtec and Northern Colorado. He has closed hundreds of transactions involving the sale and lease of office, retail, investment and industrial properties, as well as the sale and acquisition of raw ground for development. As a partner and broker at Realtec, Jim has consistently been a top producer, helping his clients achieve their goals.
Jim continues to expand his knowledge of industrial properties and currently is an owner/developer in Fort Collins Interchange Business Park (IBP) at the southeast corner if I-25 and Mulberry Street. Starting from scratch and working for over 5 years for CDOT, county and neighborhood approvals give Jim real insight to the development process and governmental regulatory actions. This “hands on” experience gives Jim that added advantage to assisting his clients with their investment needs. IBP North, a new 47 acre development at the northeast corner of I-25 and Mulberry Street, is currently in the planning process.
In 1991, Jim attained the prestigious designation of Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). In 1996, he was awarded the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) designation and has served as the Colorado chapter president.
Prior to joining Realtec in 1991, Jim owned his own firm, Mokler Realty. He also worked for Mountain 'n Plains Property Management and Colorado Wyoming Investments. He holds a Bachelors of Science degree from Colorado State University and is an instrument rated private pilot, allowing for quick and effective regional coverage.
Joan Chase, Jim's licensed assistant, is knowledgeable of all aspects of Jim's business. Joan maintains the flow of information to Jim's customers and clients.
